ScrumMaster Certification and Estimation Course - Sofia 2008
Course Summary
Certified ScrumMaster Course
Agile project management differs fundamentally from conventional project management. Rather than plan, instruct, and direct, the ScrumMaster facilitates, coaches and leads. This course will help participants understand advanced techniques for product and iteration planning, project management and collaboration.

The agile project management approach is targeted at projects where fast responsiveness to changing market demands is important and for organizations with innovative cultures.

An agile project management approach will help dramatically improve a project team’s ability to cope with change and will improve project success rate.

The participants become Certified Scrum Master upon finishing the course.
Attendees get credits towards PMI certification.

At this two-day hands-on course the Certified Scrum Master Trainer Martine Devos enables the participants to apply Scrum productively and teaches the delegates to be effective ScrumMasters.
The Certified ScrumMaster is concerned with helping people change their habits and perceptions of how best to work. This is accomplished in an experiential classroom setting.

Your instructor will certify that you have been taught what you need to know to fulfill the role of a ScrumMaster. She will pay your first year $50 Scrum Alliance membership fee and submit your name for inclusion for membership on the Scrum Alliance site.

To remain a member of the Scrum Alliance, you will need to renew your membership and pay a $50 fee each year. Your certifcation does not need to be renewed.

Students are expected to come to a Scrum training class with a working knowledge of the mechanics and rules of Scrum. Through exercises and peer discussions, attendees realize how much they rely on habits that lower productivity, quality, and return on investment. They also get to experience first-hand how a change to Scrum practices works and feels.

The end of the course is only the beginning of their journey to true mastery. Time and hands-on experience will further their education.

For further information about the certification levels, you can view the Scrum Alliance site.
